JOB TITLE: Process Engineer

LOCATIONS: Ocala, FL & Hendersonville, TN

BENEFITS: A generous benefit package is included.

SALARY: $90K Ė 120K Depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Process Engineer is to significantly improve manufacturing efficiency by optimizing plant layout & workflow, reducing material handling & labor, minimizing work piece setup & fixturing, and applying automation where justified by significant gains in efficiency, quality and/or reduction in labor & scrap

DUTIES/QUALIFICATIONS: Experience & Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, self-sufficient starter possessing a related engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) and 10+ yearsí experience in the following areas:
  • Identification and correction of plant layout and workflow bottlenecks.
  • CNC justification and procurement with wide familiarity of state-of-the-art machine tools and support systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of rapid and economical work piece fixturing methods in a short-run job-shop environment.
  • Capable of CNC programming and interface with CAD systems.
  • Flexible work cell techniques & practices.
  • Production, material utilization and material handling optimization structured to minimize labor & scrap while improving efficiency & quality.
  • Familiar with TQM procedures and techniques, Kaizen, TPS, Lean, 5S, etc.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
  • Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Perform process simulations
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions

    Candidate will work independently and be responsible for determining the best opportunities for application of technology, providing ROA justification, and then proposing projects to management. Upon management approval, this person will coordinate all phases of implementation including equipment procurement, installation & setup, programming, fixturing, and introduction into full operational production. Existing staff resources such as quality and industrial engineering will be available to provide support and assist analysis and implementation of developed programs/projects. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.

    JOB TITLE: Water/Wastewater Engineer

    LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Work will encompass all phases of municipal water / wastewater design including conceptual / feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services. This is an excellent career opportunity for a hardworking, multi-talented individual.   • Supervise junior staff.
  • Prepare and review engineering design calculations of treatment facilities, plant hydraulics, piping, and pumping systems.

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
  • Experience with treatment process modeling software is a plus.

    JOB TITLE: Civil Engineer

    LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN

    EDUCATION: B.S. in Civil Engineering or Similar Discipline.

    DUTIES: Seeking a civil engineer with 5-10 years or more experience and whose primary role will be project engineer for design of stormwater, transportation and other civil -public works projects. The applicant must have a suitable civil engineering background, be highly adaptable, and willing to work in a performance and deadline driven environment. They will assume responsibility for office production of engineering design documents and be responsible for the following:
  • Support of project manager and / or other design professionals
  • Engineering design calculations for stormwater, road design, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer systems, etc.
  • Experience in hydraulics/hydrology (storm sewer and detention design)
  • Preparation of various reports such as stormwater management plans, sedimentation and erosion control plans, etc.
  • Prepare and review CAD work, plans and reports.
  • Any other related task not mentioned herein but critical to the successful outcome of the project/team.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Registered as an Engineer Intern and / or Professional Engineer Desired
  • Experience with the following models will be a plus:
    -HEC RAS experience
    -HEC HMS
    -TR20
    -HY8
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus
  • Microsoft Suite (Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Past INDOT experience is a plus (knowledge of INDOT Design Manual.
  • Site layout, Grading and Storm Sewer/Detention design experience.
  • Stormwater quality design and BMP experience.
